The popular Demon Slayer franchise has reached a new level of excitement with big-name celebrities taking part.

Filipino-American and popular Tiktok star Bella Poarch once revealed that she is one of the enthusiastic fans who dressed up as demon girl Nezuko Kamodo for Halloween back in 2022.

“What’s your favorite anime?” she captioned her Instagram post with a collection of costume photos.

In these photos, the social media personality sports the signature Demon Slayer lead girl look, complete with a pink kimono ensemble, a long dark wig with brown tips, a pink hairband, white tabi socks, and a bamboo muzzle.

This Nezuko cosplay makes Bella Poarch look like a real doll.

In true Bella Poarch style, she also shared a Tiktok post of herself dancing and wearing a bamboo face in her mouth, just like Nezuko usually does in the series. This could be a reference to when she wrote about her love for the character in 2021, saying that Nezuko is her “spirit animal.”

Bella’s fans have become accustomed to her adorable dance moves, lip syncs and spot-on facial reactions being her most popular content.

Her Tiktok video of her lip-syncing to Mille B’s “M to the B” was one of the most popular videos on the platform this year, with nearly 60 million views and nearly 2 million comments.

Her popular content eventually paved the way for her to sign with Warner Records in 2021 and release pop anthems like “Build a B*tch,” “Dolls,” and “Living Hell.”

Bella has also collaborated with other Filipino-American figures over the years, including celebrity cousin Bretman Rock and popular streamer Rachel “Valkyrae” Hofstetter, who have appeared in her music videos. Famous streamers Ludwig “Ludwig” Ahgren and Sykkuno also recently starred in their video for “Dolls.”

Since her Nezuko cosplay was well received and received over 1.7 million likes on Instagram, only time will tell if Bella decides to do a photo shoot or dress up as other popular anime characters.

Demon Slayer has become one of the most popular anime in the world. Mugen Train, the first animated film in the franchise, became the highest-grossing Japanese film of all time, grossing over US$506 million worldwide.

With even more seasons and movies planned to be released in the future, the sky’s the limit for these talented cosplayers.
