Beyoncé reporter hired by Gannett after buzzy job posting

(CNN)- Multimedia journalist Cache McClay is having a career “renaissance” as she takes on her new role as Beyoncé reporter for USA Today and The Tennessean.

“I grew up in a Beyoncé family, my mom and sister are fans,” McClay said in announcing the news of McLay’s appointment on Monday, according to USA Today. He said, “More than just playing music, Beyoncé’s influence has shown us that the possibilities are endless.”
