Lexploitation returns. An urban, quality festival with its own identity that conquers the city of Lyon on this occasion to bet on the best underground scene with retro essence and phenomenal posters with top artists.
The English Big Boss Man with Vanity Mirror or Green Seagull is the headliner of an event that leaves the Exhibition Palace to distribute between Espacio Vias, El Gran Café, El Babylon, El Albatros or the cafeteria of the University of Lyon.
The bands Lie Directors, Les Rencards, Palazzo, Garbayo and The Phantom Keys complete the lineup. Event organizer Constance Chao said, “It’s an eclectic lineup that mixes national and international artists with the intention of bringing together the best of the underground music and art scene.”
Live music will once again be the protagonist, with the event taking place on 21, 22 and 23 September, with a total of eight bands (two international and six national) and a musical storyteller.
In addition, a dozen of the best DJs from all over the world come to Leon. They would be Fred Bodysway, Edu Lobo, Mr. Clyne, Smallface, Albert Acedos, Patrice Cassajou, David Diz, Quitapeace DJ, Gabriel de Camargo and Merli Marlow.
Market and Record Fair
There will be no dearth of markets where you can buy everything from clothing and accessories to decorative and collectible items. Vintage items, both new and second-hand, as well as contemporary brands that stand out for their originality, quality and a marked vintage character.
There will also be a record fair which will mainly be vinyl. You can find both singles and LPs, from current groups and from the 50s onwards.

The official presentation took place this Friday, September 8, at which, in addition to Chao as organizer, other members of the organization such as Eva López Campesino or Pete Arduengo were present, along with Elena Aguado, councilor of culture of the capital of León. ., and representatives of the University of León, Vice-Rector for Responsibility, Culture and Sports, Isidro Martínez, and Director of the Cultural Activity Service, Cesa Ordóñez.
The Culture Councilor has endorsed this type of “urban show adapted for small audiences whose differentiating element is quality.”
exhibitions
As far as exhibitions are concerned, the El Alberto Cultural Ateneo of the University of Lyon will host Patricia Martin’s ‘Bang, Bang’ between September 22 and 27.
On the other hand, in the Espacio Vias conference room, you can enjoy ‘Piles de 7’, a collective project in the relationship between music and tattoos in the Secret Bridge Studio.

Festival tickets for Friday and Saturday will cost 35 euros in advance plus a management fee or 40 euros at the box office, and will include all the concerts and activities that make up the Festival programme.
