hazy and pulpy They lead the anniversary edition of Spring Fauna

The tenth edition of Fauna Primavera has made a great return, thanks to Britpop. A dream come true for music lovers, as two seminal bands announce their return to the stage after several years apart: haziness and pulpFauna Primavera headlines the 2023 festival.

Blur is one of the most successful British bands of the last three decades. The owner of an impressive material full of anthems of adventurous invention. Since his debut with Leisure in 1991, he continued to revolutionize the sound of English popular music with Modern Life Is Rubbish (1993). Five consecutive #1 albums in the UK, including Parklife (1994) and The Great Escape (1995), catapulted the band to mass popularity and beyond. The eponymous Blur was released in 1997 and the seventh album Think Tank (2003) was their first album as a trio following the temporary departure of founding guitarist Graham Coxon. Twenty-one years after their debut came Blur 21: The Box, which brought together all of the band’s work in one box. Their most recent release as a quartet is The Magic Whip (2015). Now Damon Albarn is back with Graham Coxon, Alex James and Dave Rowntree, ready to share their treasure trove of extraordinary songs at Fauna Primavera Festival.

The return of Pulp is now a reality: the leading group within the Britpop spectrum returns to Fauna Primavera after an excellent show in its 2012 edition. One of the last live performances, also in terms of composition, was the same year they released the single ‘After You’, produced by James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem. Pulp released their debut album, “It”, in 1983, but the band did not find success until the release of 1994’s “His ‘n’ Hers”. Then “Different Class” and “His ‘n’ Hers”, “This Is Hardcore”, became the defining albums of the 90s. With periodic breaks, the band returns to the stage and tours, after twelve years playing packed stages in Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds.

Two days to enjoy spectacular performances from national and international bands, offering top-class live shows to thousands of attendees, making the act one of the essential stops of each year.
