News bulletin Fuel Distribution at Gas Stations, which periodically analyses price dynamics in Spain, analyses for the first time the prices of the main brands of independent or low-cost gas stations. There are 22 of them in Spain, including Ballenoil and Plenoilin addition to Bonarea and filling stations of hypermarkets such as Carrefour and Alcampo
The average price of fuel fell after rising in the previous month. The price of petrol 95 was €1,671 per litre (-1.0%; -1.63 cents per litre) and diesel A was €1,510 per litre (-3.3%; 5.19 cents per litre).
This trend was motivated by downward dynamics of the price of a barrel of Brent and, as a result, international prices of benchmark products, which were affected mainly by the decline in the geopolitical risk premium and weak demand in Europe, explains CNMC.
Bonarea was an independent brand that set the lowest prices. In contrast, higher prices brands were registered at independent stations Costco, Carrefour and Valcarce.
Prices Ballenoil, Plenoil and Petroprix were positioned in the lower mid-range.
