César Valdez joins the Dominican team for the World Baseball Classic

César Valdez has been added to the roster of the Dominican teamwhich will debut on March 11 at the games of the World Baseball Classic, This was reported by the team’s management.
Nelson Cruz, the position’s starter, said the pitcher is coming in for Jose Leclerc of the Texas Rangers.
“César has a name made, as we say in our country. Your experience should serve us in many ways. And, likewise, he has been willing to represent his homeland since day one,” said manager Cruz through a press release from the Dominican Baseball Federation (Fedom).
Valdez, of the Tigres del Licey in Dominican autumn-winter baseball and with the Los Angeles Angels in the Majors, will be in a World Classic for the second time, after playing in the Clásico held in 2017.
According to records, the player has been one of the best pitchers in Quisqueyan baseball. and it comes from being the Most Valuable Player in the last Caribbean Series held in Venezuela.
