Travis Scott’s Utopia – Circus Maximus tour, which took place from October to December, consists of 28 performances across the United States and Canada.
Earlier, Mayor Sylvester Turner suggested a show at Houston’s Toyota Center, but this contradicts the official schedule released.
Travis Scott was born in Houston, and has faced opposition from his local community in the past. This resulted from an incident at his concert during the Astroworld Festival in 2021 that killed 10 people.
Despite the controversy, Scott revealed the dates for his upcoming tour on Tuesday, confirming 28 multi-city performances. Texas fans will need to be in attendance at the American Airlines Center in Dallas on October 17 or the Moody Center in Austin on October 21. Scott performance to watch in November.
The proposed performance in Houston would be Scott’s first after the Astroworld festival event on November 5, 2021.
But the suggestion to hold a mass concert there drew a strong reaction from the Houston Police Officers’ Union, which urged officers to stop the event, declaring, “Not in our city, not again!”

Scott’s latest album, “Utopia”, released on July 28, coincides with the release of a comprehensive report by the Houston Police Department investigating the tragic 2021 Astroworld Festival incident.
Following the release of the report, a Harris County grand jury decided not to criminally charge Scott and five others.
The tragic Astroworld Festival incident caused by a crowd smothering resulted in several civil lawsuits against Scott and event organizers such as Live Nation. Many of these cases are still pending.
Despite the controversy, “Utopia” topped the Billboard 200 chart for four consecutive weeks. It is the first time a rap album has achieved this feat since Drake’s “Scorpion” in 2018.
