Coca-Cola will carry out an ERE that will affect 85 workers at its factories in Barcelona and Madrid
Coca-Cola Europacific Partners has confirmed that it intends to prepare an employment regulation (ERE) file, which will affect 85 workers from work centers in Madrid and Barcelona, as announced this Wednesday by the company that produces and distributes the drink.
The reason stated by the company is “organizational”as detailed by the Independent Central Union of Civil Servants (CSIF), which the company informed, given that it hopes to restructure customer service, people culture and business operations positions and unify them in Bulgaria.
Specifically, of the total number of people affected by ERE, 21 corresponds to the place of work in Madrid, and 64 to Barcelona.The company has a total workforce of 3,900 people in Spain, sources said.
The same sources stressed the importance of conducting this process through a “frank” dialogue in which “all options” are considered and with the idea “minimize impact”. The company informed the European Works Council, as well as Madrid and Barcelona.
