Cointelegraph publishes the Top 100 of Crypto and Blockchain 2022

The Cointelegraph team has dug into the deepest trenches of the blockchain world to find the most artistic, analytical, and innovative people out there to feature in this comprehensive list of people and trends that shaped the industry in 2021 and will continue to drive it forward. in 2022.

2021 was a year like no other. With El Salvador making Bitcoin (BTC) legal tender, miners experiencing their great migration, non-fungible tokens (NFTs) breaking sales records, and cryptocurrency prices rising to all-time highs and lows, it was one of the hectic years in blockchain history.

But behind all the great movements and events that took place were the people who worked and contributed to the development of an industry that is still little more than a decade old. Beyond people (and perhaps animals, spoiler alert!) are the concepts and technologies that came to life or came to prominence last year and will likely continue to develop as part of the industry well into the future.

Although not everyone will agree with the characters included or excluded from the final list, it has been conceived with a simple main criteria: discover those who have made an impact in 2021 and who, ultimately, are likely to have a significant influence on the direction of the industry in 2022.

The top 100 profiles will be posted in batches of 10, countdown style, starting at #100 through #91. Crypto trader and educator Rekt Capital, Utrust CEO Sanja Kon, and Blockstream’s Samson Mow are listed in the first batch. Do you want to know who else has been selected?

The full list of people and concepts that have contributed to the development of the blockchain community – brought together in an exhaustive and carefully researched, if slightly controversial selection – will be published here: Cointelegraph’s Top 100 in 2022.
