During his musical career, he has managed to position himself as one of the most recognized session musicians in the country and has participated in songs by Justin Timberlake, Camila Cabello, Ed Sheeran, Alejandro Sanz, Ricky Martin, Camilo and Kanny García, among others.
Daniel was born in Medellín and has participated in World Tours with artists such as: Camilo, Nicky Jam and Juanes. He also adds to his career having participated in more than 600 productions as a session musician.
In his studio, Daniel Uribe records instruments such as: Bass, Acoustic and Electric Guitars (Different brands), Ukulele, Guzheng, Puerto Rican Cuatro, Vihuela, Banjo, Venezuelan Cuatro, Cuban Tres, Oud, Lap Steel, Charango, Mandolin and Cavaquinho.
He has been sponsored by brands such as Gibson, Taylor, Fractal, Yamaha, KRK, Suhr, Elixir, D’Addario, Vega and Santono String.
The Colombian musician hopes to soon launch his own production of Instrumental compositions for guitar. In the meantime, he continues recording as a session musician, preparing for Camilo’s 2022 tour and continuing to work in the studio for artists from all over the world.
CAREER AND ACHIEVEMENTS
Daniel was born on July 9, 1991 (30 years old) in Medellín and his inclination for art began at a very young age. He was part of his school choir and at the age of 14 he formed his first band where he began to play guitar and that only three years later would take him to tour the stages of his city with various bands and soloists.
He completed his musical training at Eafit Medellín where he graduated from the “Music with Emphasis on Jazz Guitar” program in 2015.
By then, Daniel had already participated in Juanes’ “Loco de Amor Tour” performing in iconic venues such as Madison Square Garden (New York), the American Airlines Arena (Miami), the National Auditorium (Mexico) and at events like MIA (Los Angeles) or El Austin City Limits (Texas).
In January 2015 he finished his tour with Juanes and a few months later he became part of Nicky Jam’s band in which he was musical director and with which he had the opportunity to tour 32 countries.
Together with the Puerto Rican, he stepped on important stages and festivals such as Viña del Mar (Chile), the 2018 Latin Grammys, the Staple Center (Los Angeles) and Luna Park (Buenos Aires), among others.
Parallel to his work with Nicky Jam, he began his process as a session musician and started his own studio in which he established himself within the industry. In 2019 he decided to leave the Puerto Rican project and focused his career on the field of recording. It is there where he has the opportunity to work alongside producers such as Julio Reyes Copelo, Ricky Reed, Edgar Barrera, Ovy On The Drums, Mosty, Navi Producer, Carlos López, Andrés Torres and Mauricio Rengifo.
Daniel has recorded for international artists of different musical genres and many of these productions have achieved nominations and awards.
Recently, in the 2022 edition of the Latin Grammys, Daniel participated in the winning productions of the gramophone ‘Viviré’ by Marcos Witt as ‘Best Christian Album’ and ‘Cumbiana’ by Carlos Vives which he won in the category ‘Best Contemporary Tropical Album’.
Among the artists for whom he has recorded are: Justin Timberlake, Camila Cabello, Ed Sheeran, Alejandro Sanz, Ricky Martin, Marc Anthony, Camilo, Sebastián Yatra, Karol G, Kanny García, Luis Fonsi, Marcos Witt, Enrique Iglesias, Carlos You live, Maluma, Mike Bahía, Piso 21, Gloria Trevi, CNCO, Greeicy, Pablo Alborán, Ricardo Arjona, Danna Paola, Fonseca, Christian Nodal, Anuel AA and Nicky Jam.
In June 2021, he joined Camilo’s band, joining the “Mis Manos Tour” in Europe, North America and Latin America, managing to be on relevant international television programs such as “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” and the “NPR Tiny Desk”.
That same year he participated recording guitars for a project that brought together different artists in a new version of “Himno de la Alegría”, among them the guitarist of “Queen” Brian May.

Currently, Daniel Uribe continues to consolidate his recording studio and position himself as one of the most outstanding session guitarists in the region while he continues touring with Camilo around the world and accompanying artists like Feid on stage.
