The next legend to join the Apex Legends character roster has been revealed, and it will finally be Conduit. So, here’s everything you need to know.
Until Apex Legends Season 16, Respawn added a new legend to its battle royale with each new season. It meant that players definitely had something big and new to dig into and try to master for a while.
They decided to leave that so they could focus more on the evolution of the meta. Fast forward through the two seasons since then and that has largely been the case. Season 17 added Ballistic as a new legend, while season 18 dealt with Revenant Reborn, a reworking of the terrifying simulacrum that had dogged the battle royale for a time.

However, season 19 will include a new legend and we now know it will be Conduit. And yes, that name should sound familiar to long-time Apex fans.
Conduit revealed as Apex Legends character for season 19: Ignite
Conduit was one of the first new legends outside of the original roster to leak for the battle royal in early 2019.
However, we will have to wait until the end of 2023 for the character to become a reality.

Conduit skills in Apex Legends
As we saw in early leaks, Conduit’s abilities focus on shields (both to help his team and remove enemy protection) and being a support player.
Here are his confirmed abilities:
- Passive: Savior’s Speed: Gain a burst of speed when running towards teammates outside of tactical range.
- Tactic: Radiant Transfer: Send a wave of energy to a teammate, generating temporary shields for them and the conduit when they are in danger.
- Ultimate: Energy Barricade: Deploys a series of shield-blocking devices that damage and slow enemies.
Players will be able to try out Conduit once Season 19 launches on October 31, and that will also include an overhaul of Storm Point. Doesn’t it look pretty?
