Conference on urine research at the University Hospital of Severo Ochoa
The Clinical Analysis and Biochemistry Service of the University Hospital of Severo Ochoa organizes the XLIV In-Hospital Clinical Laboratory Training Day in collaboration with the Spanish Association of Medical Biopathology and Laboratory Medicine (AEBM-ML). The publication will be devoted to the study of urine with an integrated approach to the patient.
The multidisciplinary day consists of eight presentations in which, in addition to responsible for urine belonging Albacete University Hospital, Juan Angel Jimenez and conference director and biochemistry specialist Noelia Hernandez. Different points of view related to diagnosis and treatment of pathologies which may arise in a patient after a comprehensive urine test.
Doctors specialized in clinical biochemistry and residents of the University Hospital Severo Ochoa of the Community of Madrid will give their presentations: training other specialists come to the reception. For example, they will discuss the importance of pre-testing when testing urine, how to decipher kidney stones or invisible stones, or whether urine can help identify genetic diseases.
The opening of the XLIV Day of In-Hospital Clinical Laboratory Training will be opened by the presence of the President of AEBM-ML Maria Pacheco, Managing Director of the University Hospital of Severo Ochoa, Domingo del Cacho, Head of the Clinical Department. Analysis and Biochemistry Service – Guadalupe Ruiz and Conference Director and Medical Specialist Noelia Hernandez.
