Criminologist warns of dangers of what people are increasingly doing with the photos they share

Social networks have become an integral part of the lives of billions of people around the world. Sharing images, videos, texts and any type of information is a constant that almost all of us live with on a daily basis, and it is rarely realized that such actions can violate our privacy (personal data, license plates, identity of minors, etc.).

In many cases, to avoid such exposure, some tricks are resorted to, such as placing emojis over information we do not want to disclose, pixelating the faces of minors, or blurring the image so that what we do not want to come to light does not come to light.

But this is no longer valid. New times and the constant and dizzying development of technology have brought with them tools such as certain applications of artificial intelligence that allow us to avoid these obstacles that we all use to hide certain information, so we can say that these types of methods are no longer there. They are completely useless.

For this reason, criminologist Maria Aperador (mariaperadorcriminologia on TikTok) warned the entire population about this problem and how to easily avoid it.

This way, it ensures that with a simple trick such as taking a screenshot immediately after closing the desired information, the document (image, text…) will not be “cheated”.
