The artist features Guns N’ Roses famed guitarist Slash. “Sorry Not Sorry” was originally released six years earlier as the lead single from Demi’s sixth studio album, “tell me you Love Me”, The song became Demi’s fourth top 10 hit and highest charting single on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and has since been certified 5x platinum. “Sorry Not Sorry (Rock Version)” follows the releases of “Heart Attack (Rock Version)” and “Cool for the Summer (Rock Version)”, with more to come.
“Revamped” will feature 10 revamped songs where Demi re-imagines the songs that have defined her career with a new approach that reflects her current artistic vision.
Speaking about the new song, Demi said: “Slash is an iconic artist that I’ve been a fan of for years, it’s an honor to have a legend like him on this rock version of Sorry Not Sorry.” Demi continued: “With Revamped, I wanted to pay homage to the songs that have played a significant role in my career by giving my fans the most love and giving them exciting new life. Making this project was incredibly fun and gave me a new way to express my passion for rock music and because of it I feel very close to my past music. I can’t wait to hear more from everyone!”
The artist began her return to rock last year with the album “Holy FVCK” and will perform in Brazil in September at the new The Town festival, a new event from the creators of Rock in Rio.
