Demi Lovato to make her directorial debut on a documentary about child stars

Lovato will co-direct with Nicola Marshall (known by Song Exploderon Netflix), and the film has already started production through OBB Pictures. The idea is that in the future it will be incorporated into the catalog of huluwith which in Spain we could see it through Disney+.
Child Star is framed as an investigation into the ups and downs of child stardom, apt as Lovato herself became famous at a very young age, through Disney Channel. The documentary will feature the testimonies of Lovato herself along with other former child stars, whose identity she has not yet revealed. Lovato, as a promoter, assumes that “there is no better movie or theme” for her “directorial debut on a story that touches me so closely.”
