Do you need a WiFi 7 router? These operators have already provided it to their customers.

Not all telephone companies in Spain can say that their customers can already start using WiFi 7 technology. For now. few operators who has a router with this version. Either way, if you’re a customer of one of these carriers, you’re in luck because sooner or later you’ll be able to have this equipment at home to benefit greatly from the fiber speeds you’re contracted for.

Operators with WiFi 7 router

No matter how hard you try, there aren’t many carriers currently able to take advantage of the benefits of a router with this version of Wi-Fi. You can even count with one hand the number of companies that have equipment using this technology: Digi, Orange, Euskaltel, Telecable and R.

Keep in mind that WiFi 7 can reach speeds of up to 30 Gbps, which is four times faster than previous versions. Moreover, the theoretical maximum speed of WiFi 6 and WiFi 6E is about 9.6 Gbps. Therefore, if you want to launch a device with this technology, you are interested in the following phone companies:

Digital

Low-cost operator Digi was the first to bet on launching a router with technology WiFi 7. This was announced in February of this year, and by mid-March it began to arrive to the operator’s first customers. In this case, the model is ZTE F8748Q, and it has started to cover the first 1,000 customers who subscribe to the PRO-DIGI 10Gbps plan.

Orange

The next operator to release a WiFi 7 router for its customers was Orange, and it did so just recently. Moreover, it was last week that the MasOrange brand presented this device: Livebox 7 Arcadian. On the other hand, this new device will be gradually delivered starting in October, first to new Orange direct fiber customers of all Love and Home tariffs, both individuals and companies. Although later it will be available to other clients.

Euskaltel, Telekabel i R

These three operators announce it at the same time. And as is usually the case, when MasOrange launches a new product in one of its brands, it usually launches that new product in the other two as well. For this reason, Euskaltel, Telecable and R are launching a model Sagemcom Gpon Fast 5674.

This router is Wi-Fi 7 included in higher rates these three MasOrange operators and does not incur any additional costs. That is, it is available to existing customers who are upgrading to one of the more comprehensive plans, as well as to new subscribers. Selected tariffs:
