Dominic Fike was seen in a romantic embrace with Emma Roberts’ little sister Grace Nickels on Saturday in New York.
The 28-year-old singer and actor and 22-year-old Nickels were pictured kissing while hanging out in downtown Manhattan.
Fike, who plays the role of Elliot in the HBO hit Euphoria, wore a layered ensemble on a winter day in the Big Apple.
The Naples, Florida-based artist wore a navy blue coat, an ash gray zip-up hoodie and a patterned top for the outing.
The “Mona Lisa” singer wore a black baseball cap with the New York Yankees logo on one side and the Los Angeles Dodgers logo on the other, with his curly brown locks cascading out from underneath.
Nickels wore a light purple quilted cardigan, black sunglasses and silver earrings, with her brown locks parted and braided downwards.
Nickels, who celebrates his 23rd birthday on Tuesday, was photographed smoking a cigarette while walking.
Fike, who plays Elliot on Euphoria, was previously in a relationship with his co-star on the HBO series, 25-year-old transgender actress Hunter Schafer.
The Elliot’s Song singer told the Los Angeles Times last July that the relationship was over, saying he had “decided to be alone for a while.”
Fike opened up about the intensity of his romance with Schafer in a May 2022 conversation with GQ, saying that working with Schafer as love interests on the show “accelerated” their real-life relationship.
“Because you immediately become so vulnerable with someone,” Fike said. — It usually takes a long time. Some people fall in love within a few months of meeting each other or years later.
“The attraction we had was that it sped up the process so quickly. We just got to know each other so quickly.”
In early 2022, they were spotted packing some PDA in Los Angeles several times.
The former tandem walked the red carpet as a couple for the first time when they attended the Vanity Fair Oscar Party in Beverly Hills, California on March 27, 2022, a night best known for Will Smith’s infamous slap to Chris Rock.
Fike subsequently confirmed the split in a chat with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe in July last year, as the artist said he was “done with the relationship right now” due to codependency issues.
“It’s actually blessed my romantic relationships, that dynamic, and it’s often what causes the end of my relationships,” he said.
Fike said he doesn’t expect any problems working with his ex on the third season of Euphoria.
“I think we’ll be fine—we’re all kind of adults,” he said. ‘I’m trying to.’
