Duran Duran announced on 27 October what would be their sixteenth album: awesome dance, It included a cover of Talking Heads’ “Psycho Killer”, featuring Menskin’s Victoria De Angelis; “Paint It Black” by The Rolling Stones; “Spellbound” by Siouxsie and the Banshees; “Ghost Town” by The Specials; “Bury a Friend” by Billie Eilish; and “Super Lonely Freak” by Rick James.
Simon Le Bon says, “This is one insane Halloween party.” “It should be fun.” and keyboardist Nick Rhodes add it awesome dance It is inspired by a show by the band in Las Vegas on October 31, 2022. “We had decided to take advantage of this moment to create a unique and special event: the temptation to use spectacular Gothic scenery set in a dark environment. The horror and humor soundtrack was absolutely irresistible. That night inspired us to explore further and create an album using Halloween as the main theme. The record morphed through a pure, organic process, and it morphed faster than anything we’ve done since our first album. It resulted in something that none of us could have ever predicted.”
