Eldense – Albacete: Albacete failed to relegate and caused trouble for Eldense

ANDAn emergency meeting, where the one whose legs shook the least will leave the clash of injured opponents with a good feeling.

Eldense suffered a fifth defeat in a row and went without a win for seven days. Although Albacete made it two wins in a row and won on the road, something they haven’t done since October last year.

The first half was marked by finishing in order and seeing which of the two opponents had tracked down the underdog. Only the first quarter of an hour saw some dangerous action until one of the left behind, Alex Bernal, crashed into the La Mancha defense to give the first warning of Vaclik’s area.

Unsuccessful approaches from both sides with little powder and a few rounds into the penalty area brought the curtain down on a first half where Estevez’s men pressed in the final minutes, but again in fruitless fashion.

Residents of La Mancha “gotcha”

In the resumption of the strike it was soon Albacete who was able to strike, after a local corner the visitors pursued Alicante on the counterattack, two on one from Juanma to Quiles, who bumped into him before Mackay left.

Eldense created some danger from set-pieces, such as Mateu’s corner, and after several denials in the box, La Mancha’s defense weakened. Eldens eventually had problems with a set-piece, a foul in the penalty area which Glauder took due to the naivety of the local defenders to save his shot. The goal was scored by VAR after being called offside.

The match took place where Albacete wanted, which forced Eldense to play with neck-deep water to save any point, but one day they showed the desert through which ideas and depth travel, and died in the attempt. Even Albacete was able to send Eldense to the canvas early, in a fall from Escrique behind him, which only with everything in his favor sent Agus Medina into the clouds.
