The feature film adaptation of his fake trailer for Grindhouse

Despite the fact that its filming has only begun a few days ago, we will not have to wait until next year to see THANKSGIVING by Eli Roth. Today it has been confirmed that the film will be released next November 17 in theaters.

This is the adaptation in the form of a feature film of the fake trailer that Roth himself made for Grindhouse and thus follows the same steps as Machete by Robert Rodriguez or Hobo With a Shotgun by Jason Eisener.

The fake trailer showed us a slasher set on Thanksgiving in a Massachusetts town in which a whole bloodbath was perpetrated among those who were enjoying this festivity.

Jeff Rendell has been in charge of writing the script for the film that will star, among others, Addison Rae, Patrick Dempsey, Jalen Thomas Brooks, Milo Manheim and Nell Verlaque.

Now it only remains for Rob Zombie and Edgar Wright to also be encouraged to turn their fake trailers “Werewolf of the SS” and “Don’t” into a movie.
