Elroq, the new Skoda ready to conquer the electric compact SUV segment

There’s a new competitor in the electric compact SUV segment. The new and recently presented Skoda Elroq, with a starting price of 33,900 euros, offers a compact design with simple but very striking lines; digital cabin with 13-inch infotainment screen and SmartLink in the center, spacious space for five passengers and a boot capacity of 470 liters; and with three battery sizes to choose from, it offers a range of more than 560 kilometers.

As a result, Skoda also achieves price parity between the new Elroq and its combustion engine equivalent Karoq in many markets. The SUV is now available in configurations including a limited First Edition, available in European markets from the first quarter of 2025. This includes a light strip that visually connects the headlights, as well as the roof and A-pillar painted black. An all-wheel drive version will also be available in 2025.

In detail, the Elroq’s exterior features a distinctive shape and clean lines, making it the first Skoda model to adopt the new Modern Solid design language. Taking traditional Skoda design elements from a completely new perspective, the high-gloss black Tech-Deck Face replaces the typical Skoda grille while maintaining a nod to familiar Skoda lines. The new front end also features a robust front bumper with a Unique Dark Chrome insert, while the signature Skoda SUV ‘four eyes’ headlight pattern has been completely rethought.
