Emma Roberts calls son Rhodes ‘the sweetest soul’ in honor of his third birthday

Emma Roberts rejoices at her adorable little son on his third birthday! The actress paid tribute to her son. Rhodes Robert Hedlundin a touching tribute to his special day.

“Happy Birthday to the sweetest soul. I love you, Rhodes! For 3! ❤️,” Roberts captioned an Instagram post, sharing a rare photo with her baby. The sweet black-and-white photo shows Roberts in profile, smiling lovingly as she holds Rhodes in her lap. On her Instagram Story, she also shared a photo of the seemingly homemade ornament, which featured a close-up of Rhodes’ face.

Roberts Rhodes welcomed in December 2020 with then-boyfriend Garrett Hedlund. In January 2022, ET confirmed that the two were ended their relationship after almost three years of marriage. Later that year Roberts began dating fellow actor Cody John.

Until recently, the 32-year-old actress kept Rhodes’ identity a secret. But everything changed when her mom, Kelly Cunningham, made a very modern mistake in February when she posted a photo of her face.

“When your mom posts your son’s face without asking,” Roberts wrote at the time, deciding to share the image on her page. “But you love them both, oh well.”

Earlier this week, Roberts opened up about her Christmas celebrations with Rhodes. Another photo posted to Instagram shows Rhodes on top with a tiny bow delicately placed on top of his head as he plays with a toy cash register.

She kept the caption simple, writing, “Merry Christmas 🎄.”

Source shared with ET Back in January, Roberts and Hedlund’s relationship with their parents was going “good.”

“Her main priority is Rhodes,” the source said, “and making sure their son feels loved by both of them.”
