The business group’s consolidated operating result (EBITDA) reached 25 million in the fourth quarter and 89 million on a cumulative basis for 2023.
Diversification
In the pulp segment, Ence continues to advance the sale of its specialty pulp and has launched a project to diversify into fluff pulp for absorbent hygiene products, scheduled to launch in 2026. In addition, the company continues to develop in the field of mechanical engineering. and the recycling of the Pontes project, a bio-mill for the production of recycled and bleached fibers based on recovered paper and cardboard, without increasing wood consumption and using the industrial land on which the As Pontes thermal power plant is located.
