Tomorrow, Barcelona City Council will strengthen traffic and security facilities for the opening ceremony of the America’s Cup sailing event, which will take place on Mar Bella beach.
The city council recommends using public transport, especially the metro, to visit the Barcelona show, a beacon in the world. TMB will strengthen the metro service by increasing the number of trains on L4 by 40% compared to weekdays, as well as increasing the number of staff at seaside stations. In addition, more vehicles or vehicles of higher capacity will be added to the bus lines operating near Bogatell Beach.

Regarding bicycle mobility, the America’s Cup mobility arrangement also included the creation of secure parking for bicycles and VMPs in closed areas, four differentiated spaces of approximately 100 square meters each and a capacity of 100 cars each. .
