Manuela Nieto-Márquez with participants of the health workshop organized by Fibroreal/Lanza in Cinco Casas
The Equality Representative of the Government of Castilla-La Mancha in Ciudad Real, Manuela Nieto-Márquez, visited the health workshop, financed by the Regional Executive, given at the EATIM of Cinco Casas in collaboration with its City Council.
On this occasion, a workshop was organized by the Association of Patients of Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Fibroreal, to clarify these diseases, which “have a gender bias since the majority of patients are women.” A workshop where attendees learned about the diseases and healthy lifestyle habits that improve the quality of life of women suffering from these diseases.
Nieto-Márquez valued, above all, the diffusion initiative to develop into a small municipality and reminded that, in fact, one of the priorities of the Emiliano García-Page government is aimed at the development of rural areas. The Castilla-La Mancha budget bill for 2024 increases the amount allocated to the fight against deportations to 1.9 billion euros.
