Even Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch can’t compete with the real strongest Avenger – it’s not Thor or the Hulk

Many god-like Avengers, including Doctor Strange, Scarlet Witch, Hulk and Thor, are mentioned when fans debate who is the most powerful character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Of course, after examining the physical characteristics, fans may discover that the answer to this question is not as simple as they originally thought. Besides brute strength, magic and energy blasts, there are other abilities that can give the hero an advantage during battle.

That said, Scott Lang, aka Ant-Man in the MCU, is a superhero who, with the help of Pym particles, can shrink to the size of an ant while maintaining his normal strength and durability. This means he can outsmart his opponents and hit with the strength of a normal man. Not to mention, his ability to change size gives him an added advantage in battle.

Even Hulk, Thor or Scarlet Witch can’t compete with Ant-Man in the MCU?

Hulk and Thor find themselves imprisoned on the distant planet Sakaar in the Marvel Cinematic Universe film. Thor: Ragnarok. However, they had access to the Quinjet because the Hulk traveled in it after the events Avengers: Age of Ultron. Thor (Chris Hemsworth) attempted to use the Mightiest Avenger login credentials to gain access to control the Quinjet, but was unsuccessful. Later, Bruce Banner easily entered the control system of the Quinjet.

The computer has identified Bruce as the “Strongest Avenger” compared to Thor, which infuriates the latter to a noticeable degree. However, Thor would be even more disappointed if he knew who he really lost to.

Marvel Comics’ Avengers #36 then featured the capture of Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver by Ixar, an evil alien conqueror who wanted to take over the planet by replicating all of the Avengers’ powers. Almost at the scene of the crime, the Avengers storm Iksar’s spaceship in search of their kidnapped teammates, but walk right into his trap.

It seemed that there was no hope left that Ixar would be able to take over planet Earth when an army of androids attacked the Avengers. Iksar, however, underestimated the power of Ant-Man, the “Mightiest Avenger” who could save the Avengers from almost certain death. And he proved to be an invaluable asset to the team.

By using so-called Pym Particles to grow or shrink, Ant-Man can transform himself from a nearly invisible superhero to an incredibly massive one. And even taking advantage of the popular MCU theory, most people would argue in favor of Thor or Hulk, but Ant-Man has something that beats them all. Indeed, with “Pym particles” at work.

What about Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch?

Although Scarlet Witch’s (Elizabeth Olsen) Avenger status is currently in question due to her villainous role in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, her status as the most powerful of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes is undeniable.

Since Wanda lost her partner and their children, she is effectively useless, making her even more dangerous than an omnipotent multiverse-capable being like Doctor Strange.

Thus, Wanda Maximoff’s strength is evident in WandaVision a season finale that is independent of individual storylines. Her power surpasses that of the Sorcerer Supreme, as confirmed by Kathryn Hahn’s Agatha Harkness (via Collider).

“Did you know that the Darkhold has an entire chapter dedicated to you? This is the book of the damned. Scarlet Witch is not born, she is forged. She has no coven, no need for spells. Your power exceeds that of the Sorcerer Supreme. “Your destiny is to destroy the world.”

However, let’s face it: sometimes it’s an underdog proving that size doesn’t matter when you’re a bigger size that will do the trick. Ant-Man may be small in stature, but he is mighty in spirit, which makes him the true strongest Avenger in the MCU.
