‘Fast & Furious 10’ sets release date for its first trailer and Tyrese Gibson gets emotional

Vin Diesel has been warning for a couple of months: the trailer for ‘Fast & Furious 10’ is coming. She commented on it this January 5 in a post on her official Instagram account, announcing a release for next month. Now Collider confirms date stating that on February 10 we would see that first preview of the tenth installment of the saga. At that moment the promotion for a film whose premiere is set for May 19 would start, so we would be facing a marketing campaign of very little more than two months.

Universal will warm up engines for the Fast Family to return to the cinema giving the starting gun with an advance that will arrive just two days before the Super Bowl, as happened with the trailer for ‘Fast & Furious 9’ in 2021. On that occasion, said studio organized a concert in Miami (United States) with live performances by Cardi B, Wiz Khalifa, Charlie Puth, Ozuna and Ludacris, a plan that is not known if it will be repeated for the trailer of ‘Fast X’ that, according to the aforementioned North American media, would last well over three minutes. In addition, two days after the premiere of this trailer, the new film headed by Toretto by Vin Diesel, will have a television spot at the sporting event of the North American National Football League.

‘Fast & Furious 10’, first part of the definitive end of one of the most successful original sagas in the history of cinemawill have the return of most of the regulars, Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Sung Kang or Nathalie Emmanuel, but it also comes with important signings. Rita Moreno joins the franchise in the shoes of Grandma Toretto and next to her are also joined by Brie Larson, Alan Ritchson, Daniela Melchior and Jason Momoa, embodying the villain. After the sudden departure of Justin Lin, who decided to leave his position as director, Louis Leterrier (‘Transporter’, ‘Now You See Me’) joined the controls with a script by Lin himself, Dan Mazeau and Gary Scott Thompson.

Emotion on the surface

Just a couple of days after commenting that the ‘Fast & Furious 10’ trailer was coming, Vin Diesel wanted to share a photo with Tyrese Gibson, both posing smiling. “If you had told me in 2010, when we first worked together, that by 2023 we would be on the shores of Turks and Caicos talking about all the countries we are about to visit for the launch of the finale [no lo habría creído].
