In 2022 and 2023, WHO supported four vaccination campaigns with trivalent oral polio vaccine (tOPV) in 12 governorates of Yemen. From 25 to 27 February 2024, Yemen will join countries in the Middle East, Africa and Europe in using the new oral polio vaccine type 2 (nOPV2) Ministry of Health and Population, WHO and other partners They are planning a campaign covering 1,290,000 people. children in 120 districts of 12 provinces.
