“NASCAR México Series joins the grief of the Gutiérrez Family, for the departure of our driver and friend Federico Gutiérrez Hoppe,” wrote Nascar México.

For its part, the Mexican Automobile Organization (OMDAI) also mourned the death of the pilot who came from the talents of the Telmex Nascar team.

“We regret the death of Federico Gutiérrez Hoppe and we join the pain of his family and the entire sports community. Early resignation to his family and loved ones. QDEP,” he wrote.

Federico Gutiérrez died between the night of Sunday, January 29, and the early morning of Monday, January 30. in a car accident. Different reports indicated that fico was in an accident along with his brother, Max, both were traveling in a luxurious car in the Toluca-Valle de Bravo highway.
