Film Criticism – Memory
Avec son nouveau long métrage, Mexican seller Michelle Franco seduce the public. “Memory”, ported by an unusual distribution, is a complex and rich story.
Sylvia (Jessica Chastain), a simply chaste woman who joins two fights, is faced with mental health issues. Lors d’une reunion d’anciens élèves, elle rencontre Saul (Peter Sarsgaard), atteint de démence. In access to confusion, ce dernier lasuit jusque chez elle. As a temporary member of the Lyceum, Sylvia thought that the reconnaissance would take place in his burro, but most of all she would not be remembered. If there are no adaptation advantages in these conditions, then these two things are complete in order to become a detective.
The title is clear: “Memory” explores, through two main characters deeply marked by their respective experiences, the theme of memory. Prisonnier de la perte Progressive de ses souvenirs et de son identité, l’avenir de Saul s’annonce gloomy. The son of a cat, Sylvia lives in constant fear, reliving past traumas. And while the souvenirs of these abuses are overlooked in the issue, the heartfelt interrogation of the unreliability of memory is especially intriguing.
Avec Brio, realized and screenplayed by Michel Franco, imagines the fate of two characters who confront each other and build a complex fable about humanity, family, hope. In the heart of this palpable detress, a romantic eclot in all its simplicity, captivating tenderness and magnificent content. Lueur d’espoir dans l’mouscurité de leurs of existence, characters overcome by despair are dangerous to Saul’s illness.
If the main characters collide in the name of adversity, a long film never becomes desperate. Doucement, il captivity et émeut grace o’ Michael Franco’s writing talent. It is wonderful that il creuse ses personanages et corrects complex relationships between people. In the foreground, Jessica Chastain and Peter Sarsgaard demonstrate wonderful performances, all subtle and emotional. Films can aim to become part of the public’s passion for empathy, which, pleinement investmenti, SE Surprendra regulièrement à souhaiter de tout son être une fin heureuse.
