Film review – THE OUTRUN
Ce fut l’une des très belle surprises de la section Panorama du dernier Festival de Berlin que ce ce nouveau long métrage of Nora Fingscheidt, realisatrice remarquée avec le Laborieux “Benny“And after the commands of the thriller produced by Netflix,”Unpardonable“. Embarquant Soirse Ronan (révélée par “)Revien-moi“, puis vu entre autres dans”Hannah“And”Ammonite“…”Outran“This is a portrait sur l’isolement, faisant la part belle aux Sensations et au Tourment.
A captivating mise-en-scène crafted into a beautiful piece of this anti-heroine. In the opening scene, explaining the date upon leaving London, the ported camera is assembled in steering wheel mode, and also that the grimaces and ronflements that precede the girl embody l’ébrieté du personnage. She can use blouses, an unstable camera, as a double image of a character’s face, without taking up a huge space where there is noise from ventilation and other elements, so that we can get a prize, etc.
From work, which speaks of the instability of the situation, the problems of separation, on the passage along a fast ellipse 117 hours after, on arrival at the mother and to help in the house of the father’s son, restoring the choice of the basis of life, au contact des brebis. The film unfolds in a complex structure, returning in the form of memories associated with relationships, with addictions to alcohol and pre-treatment, but also with passages (notamment animés) illustrating local legends (le lien entre les noyés et les phoques, la creation suposée de l’archipel…). Externally, the structure is parallel: between the protected dome and the main man.
A magnificent progression of the vibrations of nature (une tempête nocturne, le fracas de puissantes vague notamment…), c’est In fact, there is a glimpse of the motherhood of her mother and the elements that surround us, which we invite to a dark portrait in the family and the transmission of real importance.
