Puerto Rican star baseball player Francisco Lindor and his wife Katia Reguero announced today that they are expecting the birth of a second baby.
“Celebrating love and baby number two on the way June 2023 #soonfamilyof4,” Reguero wrote in a post on the Instagram social network, in which an image appears touching her belly next to the New York Mets shortstop.
Lindor and Reguero are already parents of Kalina Zoé, who was born on November 4, 2020. The couple married on December 19, 2021 at Florida Stadium.
The two met in 2019, after Reguero finished his high school and planned to study Law. Then, the young athlete began to write to him on Instagram, according to Reguero herself in an interview with The new day.
“He called me on FaceTime every day and worked hard for me to visit him… (After meeting him) I realized that I could talk to him about important issues, which was very important to me. Besides, he made me laugh. I could be in the worst mood and it always brought me a good mood”, recalled the Aguadillana in an interview with this medium.
Lindor is coming off the completion of his eighth major league season, his third with the Mets, with whom he signed a 10-year, $341 million contract in 2021.
