Samsung Electronics today introduced the Galaxy Ring, a wearable device that fits comfortably on the user’s finger and allows for extended wear. Made from lightweight, corrosion-resistant titanium, the Galaxy Ring can be worn all the time and has a powerful battery that lasts up to seven days on a single charge. The device is the perfect companion for in-depth sleep monitoring. With advanced sensors and AI algorithms, the Galaxy Ring offers sleep insights that help users develop healthier sleep habits. Galaxy Ring syncs with the Samsung Health app to provide detailed, personalized health information without the need for a separate subscription.
For users who enjoy outdoor activities like running or cycling, the Galaxy Watch Ultra offers maximum performance and features suitable for harsh or challenging conditions. These features include multi-sport tiles for triathlon training, Functional Threshold Power (FTP) for cycling using AI-based data analysis, and personalized heart rate zones for optimal workout intensity. Galaxy Watch7 offers a variety of health insights, whether users create their own workout routines with Workout Routine or track over 100 different types of exercises from their wrist.
One of the most notable features is the upgraded BioActive sensor found on the Galaxy Watch Ultra and Galaxy Watch7. The optical sensor can measure advanced glycation end products (AGEs) — an indicator of metabolic health and biological aging that is heavily influenced by overall lifestyle and dietary habits — helping users make more informed decisions to take preventative measures.
The new Energy Score evaluates users’ health by tracking health metrics such as activity level, sleep, heart rate while sleeping, and more. Users can make informed decisions about their health, such as taking a break or increasing their physical activity.
