Game Freak and the Pokemon saga have suffered the biggest leak in their history

Game Freak, the main developer of the Pokémon saga since its inception since 1996’s mythical Pokémon Red and Blue, confirmed:unauthorized access» to its servers and stealing all types of confidential information about its employees and projects. In a situation reminiscent of Insomniac Games and what happened with Rockstar and GTA 6, almost 1 TB of material was leaked, containing Switch 2 details, Pokemon Legends: ZA and the 10th generation of Pokemon.

“Sorry about leak of personal information due to unauthorized access,” the developer said in a statement published on its website. “Game Freak informs you that due to unauthorized access to our server by a third party, personal data of employees became known. “We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and anxiety this may cause to everyone involved.”

“They leaked personal data about our employees, including retirees and former employees. Names, email addresses… We are communicating individually with victims, but this announcement is intended for those we were unable to locate. From here we leave a contact form for those who may have been affected. We have already checked the server and We have taken measures to ensure this does not happen again.. “We will continue to strengthen our security measures.”

Let’s see how what happened will affect Future plans for Game Freak and the Pokemon saga in general, because, as we noted in the article “Nothing to Celebrate”, these leaks often reveal nothing more than pointless discussions about company decisions and unrest among poor employees.
