Recently, a Reddit user discovered that Gemini now allows you to set reminders, one of the Google Assistant features we missed the most.

After changing its name from Bard to Gemini and launching its own Android app, Google’s new generative AI continues to evolve to replace classic Google Assistantpersonal assistant, which has been rendered obsolete by recent advances in artificial intelligence and which is gradually begins to give way to Gemini.

As we were told by Android Police, Reddit user Real-Nectarine-249 recently shared a post on the Google Pixel subreddit in which he confirms that Gemini now allows you to create remindersone of the Google Assistant features that hasn’t been available in Google’s new AI-powered virtual assistant until now.

Additionally, once you set a reminder, a Gemini pop-up window will display an “Open Tasks” button that, when clicked, will prompt you to will open the Google Tasks app with all your outstanding tasks..
