Gemini Nano will appear on Google Pixel 8 and 8a smartphones

Google has announced the release of a new package of updates for its devices, among which the introduction of its Gemini Nano artificial intelligence (AI) model for the Pixel 8 and 8a smartphones stands out.
The tech giant explained that this feature and many other new features for the rest of its devices have already started rolling out and will be completed in a few weeks.
In this sense, one of the new products comes with the Gemini Nano, the smallest version of Google’s Large Language Models (LLMs), which is optimized to run generative artificial intelligence directly on the device, as is already done in the Pixel 8 Pro and Samsung Galaxy. Series C24.
Thus, as already announced in March this year, Google has added the Gemini Nano AI model to the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8a devices, making it now available to developers in the standard version of this family of smartphones.
Continuing with the Pixel smartphone news, all Pixel 8 series models will be able to send content to other large screens, such as computer monitors, via a USB-C connection.
Google also shared improvements to photography, as the Pixel camera will be able to automatically detect the “most photogenic” images in HDR+ by simply pressing the option button on the camera.
Likewise, the Pixel smartphone camera will also allow you to manually select the lens you want to use for shooting. In this way, Google aims to give users more control over the camera and make it easier to capture images according to the needs of the moment.
On the other hand, users will also be able to get more information about unknown phone numbers in cases where the phone number of a received call is not recognized and they want to check if the number is the number that has called more times or do a reverse call log search.

In addition to all this, Google also announced news about the Pixel Watch smartwatch. Thus, the company’s watches have launched a new Car Accident Detection function, with which, if an incident is detected, they will check whether everything is okay with the user, and if no response is received, they will automatically call emergency services.
This feature was designed as an additional security measure and will also allow the smartwatch to send a notification and real-time location to contacts that the user has saved as emergency contacts.
Likewise, the tech firm has improved the Fall Detection feature to make it more accurate so that in the event of an accident, such as while riding a bicycle, the user can more easily get help.
PIXEL TABLET
Finally, Google has also added a new feature to Pixel tablets that offers more comprehensive notifications. For example, informing the user about a call on the intercom at the door of his house.
The company has also added a new Google Home Favorites widget that provides faster access to compatible home automation devices. This way, the device’s home screen will provide customizable controls for doing things like turning on the thermostat or turning on the lights.
