Good feelings at first pre-season tests | Malaga
On a summer day, the blue and white team spent at the stadium of the Marbella Football Center to continue their pre-season preparation before the start of the league championship. The first test of the summer preparation was against Almeria, coached by Rubi.
Pellicer came on in the first half with the following line-up: Alfonso Herrero; Gabilondo, Einar, Nelson, Victor; Manu Molina, Dani Lorenzo, Sangalli; Larrubia, Dioni and Kevin.
The team started the first half well, not missing any chances and trying to create danger in the Almeria area. The most obvious chance was for David Larrubia, who shot at an Indalico defender under the line. In the 24th minute, Almeria managed to take the lead thanks to a shot from Alex Centelles from the front. Despite the goal, the team did not fall apart and continued to create chances in the opponent’s area until the end of the first half.
In the second half, the eleven blue-whites were replaced by nine participants, including Carlos Lopez; Puga, Pastor, Murillo, Dani Sanchez; Juanpe, Izan Merino, Dani Lorenzo; Larrubia, Baturina and Antonio Cordero. Pastor and Baturina made their debut for the white-blues in this friendly match.
The match resumed as it had ended: Malaga created chances for their opponents, harassing them with side passes that ended in a corner. In the final stretch of the match, Antonio Cordero, who had dealt with Baturina perfectly, hit the post and hit the short post, which was deflected into the Almeria team’s goal.
The match ended goalless in the second half and put an end to the first match of Malagista’s pre-season training with a score of 1:0 in favor of the red-and-whites.
The next friendly match will take place next Friday, August 2, against Al Jazeera in Dama de Noche (Marbella).
