Grammy Awards Nominees Announced for Best Video Game Score

The Grammy Awards have announced the 2025 nominees for Best Video Game Score.

These awards, some of the most famous and prestigious in the music industry, have also begun recognizing the best video game soundtracks of 2023.

This year, Ubisoft Massive, the Swedish studio of the French company, which has two games among its nominees, is starting with a slight lead. The same goes for Sony with its two great blockbusters on PS5 and PC, and rounding out the list is a remake of one of the interactive medium’s greatest classics.

The full list of nominees is as follows:

  • “Avatar: Pandora Frontier” – Pinar Toprak, composer
  • God of War Ragnarok: Valhalla – Bear McCreery, composer
  • Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 – John Paesano, composer
  • Star Wars: Outlaws – Wilbert Roger II, composer
  • Sorcery: The Mad Overlord’s Proving Ground – Winifred Phillips, composer

Bear McCreery, like a curiosity, gets his third nomination and is the only composer who has been on the list of nominees since the Grammys in the video game category (he was previously for Call of Duty: Vanguard and God of War Ragnarök). .
