There are many people who consider Hailey Bieber an icon – after all she stars in the Victoria’s Secret Icon campaign alongside celebrities like Naomi Campbell and Gisele Bündchen. But the 26-year-old model, street style expert and beauty mogul would say otherwise. In his words, an icon is “someone who stands the test of time”, listing Campbell as the perfect example. As we chat on the phone, Bieber elaborates: For him, reaching icon status means leaving a mark on the world. “I still have a lot to do to make an impression on people before I see it that way,” she says. “Having found the path and the path that I’m on, I’m really Feel lucky and blessed, and I’m really excited to keep moving forward and leave whatever mark I can on the world.” Part of that mark includes participating in the lingerie brand’s new world tour.
That’s right: Victoria’s Secret is bringing back its signature fashion show, but in a whole new way. This time, the brand is following the creative to four cities around the world, and Bieber is one of several talents featured in the documentary-style film, which will stream on Amazon Prime Video starting September 26. Work with Victoria’s Secret—obviously, they’re an iconic brand. I never got a chance to participate in fashion shows in the past, and seeing how they have done it (the World Tour), I am happy to be a part of it now and the way the brand is doing it. When asked what she likes most about the new edition of the fashion show, she said it’s the people she has had the opportunity to work with. “I think the level of comfort they provide women on set is really amazing… It’s a really respectful environment.”
Of course, working as a fashion model – and more specifically, a model in the lingerie industry – doesn’t come without its challenges, especially when it comes to body image. Bieber admits that staying positive through his work requires mental and physical strength and grace for himself. “I know that my genetic makeup has a huge impact on my body and body type, but I’m also spending a lot of time working out and eating as healthy as possible,” she shares, and also Says it’s important for her not to be too hard on herself when she doesn’t go to the gym for a week and not to restrict her diet because she’s a foodie. Simply put, living a healthy, balanced lifestyle makes Bieber feel good mentally — and if he feels good mentally, he embraces his body more.
Living a life that’s constantly in the spotlight (or, in Bieber’s opinion, on photo shoot mood boards for decades to come), especially in the age of the Internet and social media, often draws criticism. Be it in the form of silly memes or anything else, she doesn’t hide that she, like anyone else, is affected by it. “My confidence gets very low all the time…but having people around you who remind you of the truth of who you are and having people around you who love you, is something that That encourages me the most,” the model—who recently celebrated her five-year anniversary with husband Justin Bieber—says.
We’ll discuss how Bieber’s relationship with lingerie has changed over the years. While some people may prefer to wear their fanciest underpinnings beneath their daily outfits, she prefers to keep hers for more special occasions. As she says, “I wear it for fun; Like it’s Valentine’s Day or Christmas, and freaking out. “Victoria’s Secret does a really good job with what they put out for each holiday or special (occasion), so I really like to correlate my lingerie with those (offerings).”
Given how those special occasions are exactly that – special occasions – and the fact that Bieber is on a roll with his skin-care (and now makeup) brand Rhode, I ask that he have off-hours to relax. What do I do? Naturally, with a schedule like hers, she reveals that she loves spending time at home. “As I’ve grown up, I’ve grown more fond of staying at home with my dogs and my husband, watching movies and ordering in food,” she says, adding that she also wants to stay at home 24 hours a day. Spends time in her pajamas. “Movies and PJs? “It was the best day ever.”
So, what is Hailey Bieber watching right now? She shares that she has just finished sex and the City-Yeah, he rocked the whole series. Now that she’s done, she’s moved on And just like that… Two prestigious series for one prestigious star. Can you expect any less?
