In an interview with the Guardian, Penelope Cruz talks about having a naughty child, crazy hair, and why aging isn’t bad. She said that as a child she would spend hours at the salon (where her mother worked) washing and cutting hair. “It was my first acting school because there were all these women playing characters. They enter one way, and leave a completely different person. After telling my mother all the secrets about her personal life and her husband or her boyfriend, she completely changed after the treatment.
Furthermore, she remembers that the salon was also a psychologist’s office where she used to study secretly.
