Hogwarts Legacy Summer Update Brings New Free Content Including Photo Mode
Hogwarts Legacy is getting a summer update detailing all the free content that will be released on all platforms on June 6th.
Hogwarts Legacy defied industry norms: a single-player game with no microtransactions, expansions or DLC, which despite this sold over 20 million copies and, thanks to the Harry Potter license, took the rest of the failures Warner Bros.
A year and a half later, Hogwarts Legacy remains one of the best-selling games on all platforms: PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, PS4, Xbox One, as well as Switch, where it received a very solid port.
To thank you for hosting the game (and nothing more) Avalanche software has prepared a small summer update, recently confirmed for release on June 6, with new content on all platforms.
The Hogwarts game will receive a number of new features, including a new Photo modesomething fans clamored for due to his absence at launch.
The Haunted Shop mission in Hogsmeade, which has been so far exclusive to PS5 and PS4 versions. Now it can be played on all platforms.
There’s also new cosmetic content (including Harry Potter-inspired glasses) and the ability to redistribute talent points for those who want to try other “builds” that can be used to complete the game at 100%.
Total what’s new:
- Photo mode
- Redistribution of talent points
- Mission: The Haunted Shop in Hogsmeade
- Glasses that survived
- Clothes and coats of a prisoner of Azkaban
- Felix Felicis Potion Recipe
- Boreal lavender broom
- Onyx Hippogriff
When will Hogwarts Legacy 2 be released?
According to Avalanche, this update “A small way to say thank you to our players for the fantastic reception of the game“.
There are no plans to release DLC, so we will assume that the team has been working on a new game for a year since the launch of Hogwarts Legacy (the Switch version was made by another studio recently acquired by Nintendo).
But Warner Bros. Games They believe that the future is games as a service, always online, even free game and mobileand less AAA from PC and single-player consoles.
