The new OneUI update brings features like simultaneous translation to the Galaxy S23, Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 series phones. It is also now available on the Galaxy Tab S9, Tab S9 Plus and Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra tablets.
The new Galaxy AI features are already built into the phones. Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, Galaxy S23 Ultra, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Z Fold5, Galaxy Z Flip5 and can now also be used on the Galaxy Tab S9, Tab S9 Plus and Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra tablets..
This is possible thanks to an update to the internal software of Samsung devices known as OneUI. In this case, it is version 6.1 of OneUI that brings access to the Galaxy AI tools that were already available in the recently launched Galaxy S24 series.
To access the new features, users need to go to Settings, tap About Phone, and update the software. Once the action is completed, you can use things like simultaneous call translation and translator in 13 different languages, correct grammar, message tone, and advanced photo editing, the latter using generative photo editing.
It’s worth noting that the built-in AI allows you to use Google Circle Search, which provides immediate results with a swipe of your finger across the screen, making it an ideal tool for content generators, work and school.
Another of the most useful resources is the transcription assistant, which converts audio to text, and the photo and video editor, which allows you to remove objects or change the background of an image.

One UI 6.1 reaffirms Samsung’s commitment to extending the lifespan of its devices by delivering new features and functionality even months after their release in stores. The Galaxy S23, Z Fold5, Z Flip5 and Galaxy Tab S9 series devices can be found on Samsung.com/cl and in all physical stores in the country.
