“When I was 27, I did Monster. What I had gained overnight, I lost. I skipped meals thrice and got back to my normal weight. Then at 43 I did this for Tully, and I remember after a year of trying to lose all the weight I called my doctor and said, ‘I feel like I’m dying because I Can’t lose weight.’ And he said to me: ‘You are over 40 years old. The protagonist of such quotes as “The Old Guard”, “Mad Max: Fury Road” or “Atotica” confessed what action scenes have on his body.
Theron admitted that if she does get hurt while filming, her body takes a long time to heal. Furthermore, he surprised her by revealing that she does not remember what his face looked like when he was young, but rather the strength and resistance of his body at that time.
“What really bothers me is that now I make action films and if I get injured, it takes me longer to recover than when I was in my 20s. More than my face, I wish I had my 25 year old body that I could bang against a wall and not get hurt. Now if I don’t work out for three days and go back to the gym, I won’t be able to walk. I can’t even sit in the bathroom,” he said in the above publication.
