ILUNION opens a GAMER solidarity room at its headquarters

ILUNION Retail trade installed Game room at the headquarters of the group of companies located in Madrid. Volunteers of the program can take part in the event.All in one‘who created a new project called “Jugon@s” in collaboration with the Juegaterapia Foundation.

These gamersthis is the name of the volunteers of the ILUNION team who participate in this program, They will share the time and challenges of online gaming with boys and girls aged 12 to 18 years who are hospitalized or undergoing pediatric treatment in various hospitals across the country through 30 minutes of online gaming..

To make this project possible, ILUNION Retail has transformed one of its conference roomslocated on the 7th floor of the ILUNION tower, in a themed “gamer” room containing a PlayStation®5 consoledonated by Sony Interactive Entertainment Spain, along with DualSense controllers, an affordable Access controller and a selection of games for ILUNION volunteers to share gaming moments with hospitalized children.

Thus, ILUNION Retail participates in the mission of the Juegaterapia Foundation, an organization that, through play and humanization of medical spaces, makes them more friendly and playful for girls and boys. Thus, both companies, along with PlayStation, practice the Juegaterapia motto: “The chemo game flies by.”

This initiative will also help adult ILUNION team members reconnect with their inner child and be able to use mindfulness space during their workday.

Without a doubt, this will be another way to contribute to target company to “build a better world inclusive of everyone.” In this case, we work with situations of unwanted loneliness of the little ones who are going through the process of hospitalization or treatment, which prevents them from being close to their classes, friends or family.
