In the autumn, the Madrid Institute for Advanced Studies (IMDEA) will launch an ambitious project aimed at improving the nutritional and metabolic status of patients with cancer lungs, aimed at restoring their glycemic profile.
This project, called “Mentoring”, will be carried out in collaboration with four renowned centers Germany, Italy And Portugal. This was reported by Educational consultant, Science and Universities, Emilio Vicianaduring his recent visit to the institute.
Viziana stressed that IMDEA Alimentación “focuses its efforts on turning research into a precise tool that benefits health.” During a visit to the facilities, which have been expanded over the past year with new areas for clinical trials, he emphasized the fundamental role of research in health care.
This new infrastructure enables the institute to address challenges in areas such as genetics, metabolism, microbiota, body composition, exercise response, bioinformatics and artificial intelligence. These expanded capabilities strengthen IMDEA’s position at the forefront of biomedical research.
