Iranian Ambassador to Spain Reza Zabib has warned: Iran will not launch any new operations against Israel unless the Netanyahu government attacks Iran’s territorial integrity or its core interests in the region, including Gaza and Lebanon. Of course, he assured that if Israel repeats its mistakes, the response will be faster and stronger than on Tuesday. And even if any Iranian citizens or their infrastructure were affected, their country’s response would be very strong.

Reza Zabib says Iran is targeting allies of the United States and Israel, which failed to fulfill their promises of control in Gaza in exchange for a ceasefire. “We had no choice but to respond and that’s what happened yesterday under Article 51 of the UN Charter on self-defence,” he says.

The Iranian ambassador to our country also accuses all allies of the “butcher Zionist regime” of blocking all diplomatic efforts and fears that Lebanon – with at least one million displaced by the bombing – will become a new Gaza. “The same pattern is repeated,” Zabib lamented from the Spanish Embassy this Wednesday.
