At least 25 killed in Israeli attack on Gazan shops in Rafah

At least 25 Gazans were killed and 50 injured this Friday following Israeli attacks on tents of displaced persons northwest of Rafah, while in other parts of the enclave, the war in Gaza has claimed the lives of another 19 people in the last hours, according to medical and local sources. According to the Gaza Ministry of Health, the Palestinian Red Crescent (PRCS) announced in a statement shortly after that it had already transferred 18 bodies, raising the number of dead in the massacre against the tents of displaced persons to 25. To these deaths we must add two more deaths in the Khirbet al-Adas neighborhood, north of the city of Rafah, according to Palestinian sources; five others were killed in the bombing of two houses in the northern city of Gaza, although there may be more bodies in the rubble, according to the Palestinian agency Wafa. “Israeli warplanes attacked the apartments of the Mushataha and Abu al-Atta families, located behind a Catholic convent in Gaza city,” the agency elaborated.

Also in Gaza City, Israeli warplanes bombed a residence in the Beach Camp, west of the city, killing at least 10 civilians, while another 17 injured were taken to hospital. Two other Gazans lost their lives today in attacks in the Zeitun neighborhood, in the southeast. (EFE)
