Javier Miley travels to the United States on May 27 to meet with Mark Zuckerberg and other businessmen.

“On May 27 we are leaving for San Francisco. and we are going to have meetings with all the leaders on technology issues, including Mark Zuckerberg,” Miley said in a televised statement to La Nación while he was in Spain.

In the middle of a trip to Spain, where he met with businessmen and presented his new book, Miley confirmed a new presidential trip. The president approved a tweet from a libertarian user confirming a meeting “with Mark Zuckerberg and the executives of Apple, Google and OpenAI, as well as other Silicon Valley tech giants.”

The reason for the trip is the same that justifies most of his trips: On his fourth visit, he will try to meet with senior technology businessmen. During his last two visits to the United States, the libertarian president participated in meetings with Elon Musk.
