Actress Jenna Ortega was spotted on a Massachusetts film set Thursday filming scenes for the “Beetlejuice” sequel.
MassLive spotted Ortega shooting scenes for “Beetlejuice 2” in Melrose on November 16. According to WBZ-TV, the film is said to be taping scenes in the neighborhood on Thursday and Friday.

The ‘Wednesday’ actress was seen in a purple and black striped dress while riding a bicycle in the backyard of a home on the corner of Charles and West Emerson streets.
Ortega’s character is reportedly playing the daughter of Lydia Dietz, played by Winona Ryder, who famously shouted “Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice!” Saying this she calls “Bio-Exorcist”. In the 1988 comedy.

Homes on and around the street were also decorated with Halloween decorations, mirroring the Connecticut neighborhood in the film, WBZ-TV reported.
This is the same area where filming of “Beetlejuice 2” began over the summer, until the SAG-AFTRA strike halted production.

The film, which also stars Michael Keaton as Beetlejuice, Catherine O’Hara as Delia Dietz and Monica Bellucci as Beetlejuice’s wife, is expected to be released in theaters in September 2024.
