Jennifer Lawrence celebrated Christmas with the children of a hospital in Kentucky

Step aside, Santa Claus! Jennifer Lawrence was the best gift from the children of Kentucky this Christmas.
For the fifth consecutive year, the Oscar winner celebrated her Christmas Eve by visiting the little ones at Norton Children’s Hospital in her native Louisville.
“Louisville’s Jennifer Lawrence visited Norton Children’s Hospital today to spend time with patients, families, and staff,” the hospital shared on social media. “This visit has become a tradition for Lawrence every Christmas. Thank you Jennifer! You have brought smiles to all of us.”
The Norton organization, formerly known as Kosair Children’s Hospital, holds a special place in the heart of the 27-year-old actress. Every year since 2012, Lawrence has visited the same medical center during the Christmas season.
Additionally, last year JLaw donated $2 million to establish the Jennifer Lawrence Foundation Cardiac Intensive Care Unit. The unit provides private rooms for families to stay in after their children have received a transplant or have had open-heart surgery.
“My family and I have met so many wonderful children on our hospital visits. His strength and courage are inspiring,” Lawrence said in a statement after making his generous donation. “I challenge you all to give whatever you can to raise another $2 million to help.”
Looks like Jennifer isn’t so mean to all her fans after all!
